First about the N word, since I'm half black I don't see what is so wrong with using a name that whitey affectionately gave to blacks to begin with. Second, if Bovada is so honest why do they NEVER have an outside agency come in and inspect their programs to make sure no monkey business is going on (no pun intended).

It doesn't mean you have to agree with it, but fighting for civil liberties also means fighting for anyone to be able to use that word, or any other word.
It's all about context. I'd argue that using the word affectionately takes some power out of some of it's ill-willed meaning.

I still don't like language that degrades such as the n-word. Believe me, I understand the context. I don't think it takes the power out of it. BTW, I lived in Berkeley for 20 years and even there many blacks hated it when another black would use it.

I don't have the latest info on this, but last I heard Bova da had their software certified random by a company called itech. Their logo is on the bottom of bovafa home page. Clicking it brings up a PDF of the cerification. All FWIW.
